In series three semifinals, during the all-important clash between 101 and hypno-disc, dead metal got hypno-disc in its jaws and began to saw into it before the spinning sensation got free. Lucky for hypno-disc that dead metal failed to make an impression. The outcome of the fight came down to the judges' decision inspecting damage to bot bodywork, and hypno-disc won.
