Please don't copy the below aniamations
WHAT CAN CYBOT DO
Cybot can follow a follow a black line, avoid objects, follow you, detect light, move a away from it, move towards it, all sorts of things, but will an extra board you will actually be able to program Cybot yourself. Cybot started off off as a lab prototype. It was originaly called the drawf ; there was seven of them. The Team then starded making the drawf to do loads more things. Eventualy Cybot was created and can do loads of cool things. But the most important thing is Cybot can be used with and most importantly without a romote control.
As Cybot grows you will learn how he works so therefore will be able to fix if any thing should go wrong. Cybot will have an incredible amount of functions, which can be used with a remote control but most importantly without a remote control, and as you saw on the video he can negotiate a black line, follow you, react to light and avoid danger.

LATEST NEWS
For people that are on issue 2
You probably allready know but at issue 4 you Cybot will be going forward. When you test it it will go backwards because the magazine told us to put the motors in the wrong way so you might as well swap the motors now. Also when you test it Cybot will go froward for about 5 metres and then make a bit of a turn. Don't worry this is perfectly normal for cybot to do. When you get your sensors in it will not do it.
New price for the binder
The issue have been rolling in for the people who live in N.Ireland and now the pile of them is about an 3 centimentres think and it is only at issue 10. It is great to have a great big collection to look back on the problem was the binder was 9.99 untill real robots noticed this and now it is down to 4.99. I'm
Issue 8 cybot has some control over itself
Yes by issue 8 Cybot start to have a bit of control over itself using its light sensors for those people who live in N.Ireland and me already know how good it is though when I used mine for ages my battery that powers the boards sensors and all that was nearly dun because it was an old one so it was only following it at about 2 metres it pottencial is about 7-8 metres which is pritty good.
The Round foam bits in Issue 7
Are you wondering what to do with the foam bits in issue 7 then look no longer simply just push them into the holes where the utrazonic sensors go
Issue 4 Motor tester board
On a small proportion of the motor tester boards supplied with issue 4, the two holes on the board don't line up exactly with the holes on the chassis. There is no problem with the motor power board.
To check the alignment, fit the motor power board as shown in the magazine and then line up and press the seven pins on the tester board into the black socket on to the motor power board. If the holes don't line up, don't try and screw the board to the chassis. Simply fit the four AA batteries and start your test run.
This will not affect Cybot's performance.
